i have wirless internet (hercules) but i work with a cable to connect my xbox. But i can't connect to xbox live and whene i run the test he say that there are problemes with my IP adress but i don't know what to do :p so plz help :p

Well I'm not familiar with Xbox Live Support, but I do know it uses a Windows Live Account.

Maybe there is something wrong with your Windows Live Account with your router?

Also, if you are using a phone jack, thats a problem too.

Make sure the internet cable is plugged in completely and your router is turned on. If it doesn't work then reboot(your probably already tried that).

There is an Xbox Live Support website on their main page. Check there!

Yea, if you don't have a wireless hookup to your xbox 360. It probably won't work.

It hooks on to the back of your xbox and you don't even know it's there.

actually, I have a wire that plugs in from my router to my xbox..

oh this is simple to solve. if you have a password on your router than it won't work. all you gotta go is plug one cable to your xbox to a laptop and im hoping your laptop already has wireless internet. yea and all you gotta do then is to Bridge the connections together. LAN+wireless bridge.

No, I mean the Wireless router you can buy for like $90.00's USD. :\

Oh! Dit is simpel op te lossen! Als je een wachtwoord op je router hebt geconfigureert wil het niet werken. Alles wat je moet doen s één cabel naar je xbox en een laptop inpluggen. (Hij hoopt dat je laptop al een draadloos netwerk heeft) Dus ja, en alles wat je moet doen dan is een brug leggen tussen die connectie's (LAN / Draadloos netwerK)
